From:  R Dennis Alvarado

From Classmate R Dennis Alvarado: In Dec. of 2011 I contracted polymyositis, an uncurable autoimmune disease which settled in my lungs and began attacking my muscles. My health and strength gradually deteriorated and in August of 2016 when my lung function reached 21%, was told I must prepare for lung transplantation or to meet my demise. I had a most needed bi-lateral lung transplant on Oct 27th, 2016. Still very much in the healing process and am breathing far better than I have in years. Sadly however - hospital, doctors, follow up procedures, and anti-rejection medicine copays & deductibles not covered by my medicare and my medicare supplement are more than my working Wife and I can keep up with, me being on disability. The Managers of our Class of 77 website have allowed me to post my story and the link to a charity known as HelpHOPELive here on our Home Page where it may be seen by Friends & Acquaintances I know and have known via going to school in the ECISD. A donation to my campaign helps me out in so many ways and is used strictly for transplant related expenses only. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consider a donation if it is at all feasible for You to do so. Here is the link: All Hail to Permian High... Mojo! Thank You for Your Consideration and God Bless You & Yours always. Sincerely, R Dennis Alvarado Email:
